Our Staff

OUR STAFF

Dr. Eugene Strickland

is our Director of Missions. He is a native of Mississippi, and has served as pastor of churches in Mississippi and Florida. He received the B.A. degree from Mississippi College and the M.Div and D.Min degrees from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He came to our Association as Director of Missions in 1987.

Ila Bosarge

is our secretary. She is a native of Florida and moved back to this area a number of years ago. She came to the Association in 1994. Her responsibilities include administering the day-to-day responsibilities in the office, publishibng the newsletter ("Support") and a thousand other minute details.

Julie Peacock

serves as Education Director and Bookkeeper. She serves as Director of Sunday School, Discipleship Training, and VBS, as well as working closely with churches in a myriad of other capacities. She is a native of south Alabama, and has served with the North American Mission Board and the Louisiana Baptist Convention. She came to work with us in 1996.

Bob Chase

is our Church Growth/Development Coordinator. He came here in 2001 and works with churches in the area of developing their vision and strengthening their spiritual infrastructure in order to realize their highest potential for God's glory.

Marcia Strickland

is our Records Clerk. She coordinates the collection and assimilation of the churches' Annual Church Profiles in order to help us keep track of how effective we are in fulfilling God's plan for us. She also assists in many of the day-to-day responsibilities in the office.
